Mission: Equity

Fairness. Accountability. Inclusivity. Reliability. When these principles are applied to AI, they help create systems that are more ethical, equitable, and likely to gain public trust. They are essential in guiding the development of technology that is ultimately resilient and enhances rather than undermines societal values.

This blog explores the connections between equity and technology, aiming to make these complex topics clear, relevant, and relatable to a range of audiences. Through what I hope is engaging story-telling and using real-world examples, I want to inspire readers to think about and discuss how we can use emerging technology fairly and with empathy. Ultimately, this is a space to share, teach, learn, and think.

Most of all, I encourage everyone to actively participate in this vital discourse on why and how technology can and should be governed, developed, and utilized ethically and equitably.
